2025 Execution & Deliverables

The past year was defined by the successful transition of our core technologies into production environments under sustained, real-world load. 

Most strategic objectives, including the launch of the DataHub and the Deimos II, were delivered in full, providing a stable foundation for our 350,000+ global contributors.

In a small number of instances, we deliberately adjusted or deprioritized specific project scopes to ensure a consistent approach, prioritizing user experience and long-term stability over short-term spectacle.

2026: Look Ahead

‍Deployment of Deimos II Edge Network

With over 58,000 nodes already active, the 2026 milestone will focus on Decentralized AI data processing  rather than just storage.

• Goal: Reaching 100,000+  active nodes capable of running "Small Language Models"  (SLMs) and many other data processing algorithms locally on Deimos II hardware. Instead of sending data to a central server (like OpenAI), 2026 will see OORT enabling Privacy-First AI where the computation happens on the edge, keeping sensitive data within the user's local network.

Datahub User Growth:  Data-as-a-Service engine 

• Goal: Comprehensive gamified incentive system. Allow our users to enjoy contributing data, achieve personal growth, and have the opportunity to earn greater rewards (the more you contribute, the more you earn);
• Goal: Open task launchpad platform. By building a developer community and a data tool application marketplace, the Launchpad task system will integrate various data collection and processing workflows to gain powerful capabilities for serving real clients. RLHF and predictive data collection have the potential to bring substantial revenue to DataHub.

Ethical Monetization

• AI Data RWA Exploration: transforming OORT’s massive pool of verified, ethical data into a liquid Real-World Asset. As our data volume grows daily, the value of this RWA increases, creating a first-of-its-kind financial bridge between decentralized AI data and global markets.

Global Developer Ecosystem 

• Goal: Transform the OORT DataHub into the backbone of a fully open, decentralized AI data supply chain. By harnessing the power of a global builder’s community, we aim to make the ecosystem infinitely scalable and versatile, capable of handling the entire data lifecycle—from collection, storage, and cleaning to masking, verification, labeling, and value estimation. This expansion will not only democratize access to high-quality AI data but also unlock new dimensions of utility for the OORT token, establishing it as the essential fuel for a self-sustaining, comprehensive economy that powers the next generation of artificial intelligence.
