Dear OORT Community,

We are pleased to share an important update about our ongoing efforts to strengthen the OORT ecosystem. Through our collaboration with Microsoft, OORT investors will participate in a staking program for being validators with Microsoft servers that will play a key role in supporting our decentralized infrastructure.

Microsoft’s Role as OORT Mainnet Validators

OORT will add Microsoft servers to  OORT layer-1 protocol “Olympus Protocol” as network validator on August 16th, 2024. These servers will help maintain and enhance the stability and security of our network, which is critical as OORT continues to grow.

Investor Participation in Validator Staking

Investors will stake $OORT from the upcoming token distribution as collateral for the Microsoft servers. In return, investors will receive validator rewards, aligning their interests with the success of the OORT ecosystem.

Key Details:

Token Supply and Burn

As part of our commitment to managing the token supply effectively, the OORT Foundation has already burned 3.25 million $OORT. This burn represents about 0.16% of the total supply and 2.5% of the current circulating supply. As we continue with the Q3 token burn, the investor staking program will help maintain a balanced and robust ecosystem, reducing potential dilution and supporting the network’s integrity.

We believe this program is a significant step forward in strengthening the OORT network and ensuring long-term value for our community. We appreciate your continued support and trust in our vision.

Best regards,

OORT Foundation
