To OORT Community,
OORT hereby issues the following formal statement regarding recent reports of unauthorized use of the OORT name, brand, trademarks, and related materials in China and Vietnam.
It has come to our attention that certain individuals and groups in China and Vietnam are unlawfully using OORT’s name, trademarks, product images, project descriptions, and even images of OORT team members to solicit funds from the public.
These activities reportedly include:
-- Promoting “OORT mining machines (Deimos),” “OORT nodes,” “OORT investment plans,” and similar schemes for funds solicitation purpose and promising high, fixed, or guaranteed returns;
-- Soliciting public funds through social media groups, online communities, or informal distribution channels other OORT's official channels;
-- Falsely claiming affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or authorization from OORT.
OORT has never authorized any entity or individual to conduct such activities, and all such solicitations are entirely unrelated to OORT.
OORT will publish legitimate announcements only through its official channels.
Any information not originating from the official OORT channels should be treated as unreliable and illegitimate.
OORT confirms the following:
-- OORT does not conduct any investment, fundraising, token sales or public-facing financial product offerings in China, Vietnam, or any other jurisdiction without first completing official KYC and AML verification processes conducted by OORT;
-- OORT has not appointed agents, distributors, node sellers, investment promoters, or partners in China or Vietnam for aforementioned activities;
-- OORT does not operate subsidiaries, branches, foundations, or affiliated entities in China or Vietnam;
-- No individual or organization has been granted authority to represent OORT to raise funds, or promote investment-related products on behalf of OORT.
Any claim suggesting otherwise is false and unauthorized.
OORT is one of the victims of these unlawful activities. The misuse of OORT’s brand and the fraudulent fundraising schemes conducted in OORT’s name misled the public, harmed OORT’s reputation, created unnecessary compliance and regulatory concerns for OORT, and potentially exposed innocent individuals to financial loss. OORT strongly condemns all forms of fraud, illegal fundraising, and deceptive conducts.
We strongly urge the public to exercise caution for the following things. You should NOT do any of them without first consulting OORT's official channels.
-- Do not participate in any investment, fundraising, node subscription, mining, or financial product promoted in OORT’s name.
-- Do not transfer money or digital assets to individuals or groups claiming to represent OORT.
OORT does not and will not solicit investments from the public through social media, messaging groups, or informal channels.
