The OORT Foundation will continue to distribute device licenses for free, with a total cap of 100,000 licenses. As of now, 45,443 licenses have been activated. The remaining licenses will be provided for free until the 100,000 limit is reached, after which a paid application will be required.
To prevent bulk applications without actual usage, each eco-partner may apply for up to 1,000 licenses at a time. All previously applied licenses must be activated before new applications can be submitted.
High Reward Tier:
• 900 $OORT per device
• Limited to the first 30,000 overseas devices (excluding Hong Kong).
Standard Reward Tier:
• 600 $OORT per device
• Capped at 30,000 devices
• Applies to devices located in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and any overseas devices exceeding the high reward cap.
Notes:
• Rewards will be released linearly on a daily basis over 12 months.
• Once the high reward cap is reached, qualifying overseas devices will start occupying standard reward slots.
• Devices eligible for the standard reward cannot be counted toward the high reward tier.
All devices must meet the following requirements:
• Fulfill the staking requirement.
• Meet the daily minimum online time standard. Actual reward = daily max reward × device’s online score.
Additional requirements for high reward tier devices:
• Devices must be located overseas (excluding Hong Kong).
• OORT’s partner Witness Chain will automatically verify the network environment in real time.
• If a device is found using a VPN or switching to a Mainland China IP, rewards will be paused for that day.
Additional Notes:
• Device migration is not supported. The system determines the location (Overseas or Mainland China/Hong Kong) based on the IP address during the first run. Future network changes will not affect this initial determination.
• The system ranks devices automatically based on the IP location reported at first resource submission and staking completion time. Real-time rankings can be checked on the miner dashboard.
• If rewards are paused due to unmet conditions (e.g., network or online time), they will resume automatically once the conditions are met again. However, missed rewards will not be retroactively issued.
• Standard reward tier devices do not require network environment verification.
This reward policy applies to all generations of Deimos miners, including future Deimos devices.
