AION: Your Always-On AI Team

AION is OORT's multi-agent AI system — built to handle community management, social media, content drafting, and operational workflows around the clock. New agents are in testing, including a paid ads manager and an executive assistant. AION offers a 7-day free trial so you can test it yourself before committing. We ran a survey across all clients and are actively listening to feedback. Coming soon: content calendar, auto-scheduling, and native human language support.

DataHub: New Tasks Live‍

The Riser Pipe Corrosion task is live now on DataHub. More tasks launching shortly. DataHub is also getting a full refresh — Leaderboards and Raffle Sprints are coming back, making it more competitive, more rewarding, and more fun to participate.

Equilibrium Burn: May, June & July
The Equilibrium Burn mechanism — born from a community governance proposal — matches the Foundation's burns 1:1 with what the mining community burns through licenses. Burns have been completed for May, June, and July. More than 7.5 million OORT removed through the Equilibrium Burn alone. Combined with previous quarterly buyback burns, total OORT burned to date stands at approximately 30.015 million tokens.

Governance Proposal: Genesis Account Lockup — Vote Opens August 27‍

OAPA is bringing a community-driven governance proposal to a vote: a two-stage, six-month lockup of the Genesis Account. During each lockup period, the team, foundation, and early investors may only sell tokens via OTC transactions directly to OAPA — not on the open market. OTC pricing is set at the full two-week trailing average market price on Gate.io, with no discount. OAPA also commits to two KPIs during the initial period: maintaining $OORT liquidity on Gate.io and deploying at least 1,000 Deimos-II nodes. A minimum of 5,000,000 $OORT must be pledged for the vote to be valid. Voting opens August 27 and closes 48 hours later.

OORT's First Halving Is Approaching
‍A milestone is coming for the OORT network. The first halving triggers once 50% of the 400 million token mining pool has been mined — and we are close. After the halving, daily rewards adjust as follows: Deimos I miners go from 3 OORT to 1.5 OORT per day, and Deimos II miners go from 36 OORT to 18 OORT per day. Fewer tokens entering circulation means the supply side tightens — a healthy sign for any long-term ecosystem. Bitcoin went through this. Ethereum went through this. Now OORT is next.

OORT Bridge Sunset

The OORT Bridge is closing. Hyperlane is ending support, and the bridge will not continue. If you are holding bridged OORT on external chains, move your assets back to OORT Mainnet now. This deadline is firm — assets remaining on closed chains after sunset will be unrecoverable. The team is exploring future bridging options and continues to evaluate additional chain support.

CEO Office Formed as Dr. Li Takes Board Seat at AetherHub.

OORT has formally established the CEO Office as a dedicated operational unit. As part of this structure, Dr. Max Li has taken a board seat at AetherHub, the joint venture with Nasdaq-listed Aether Holdings. AetherHub MVP is targeted for end of September, with internal testing beginning around the start of the month. OORT community members and existing DataHub users are expected to receive early access.
